Education
Feeding Many recognizes that urban gardening offers a wonderful opportunities for lifelong learning.  The Community Orchard and Garden offers a range of educational opportunities and events.

The orchard and garden are designed as a demonstration area where people can learn about growing fruit trees in small urban spaces while ensuring that the orchard receives proper care.  It also encourages healthy eating by raising awareness about the origins of our food.

The Children's Gardening Program is an in-school and after-school program to help children and youth learn about and enjoy the benefits of gardening.  Children are introduced to food production, nutrition, composting, ecological awareness, and preparing the food they grow. The purpose is to delight and engage children in the wonders and beauties of making things grow, of learning to save our environment, and to spread this knowledge to others.
